“If our life is rooted in Christ, it is rooted in faith and in love”

On the 3rd day of the Family Rosary Crusade (FRC), Mass Presider Rev. Fr. Manuel Anastacio of San Isidro Labrador, Bulihan, Malolos, reminded people to acknowledge the importance of the presence of our guardian angel, saying we fail to recognize the Holy Spirit, as they are the guide to deepen our faith and the path towards God.

“Our souls and our hearts are both the price they are fighting for and the significant part of their battlefield,” Rev. Fr. Manuel said.

In the chaos of daily existence, we often overlook the silent companions that walk beside us—our guardian angels. Rev. Fr. Anastacio, who highlighted the importance of guardian angels in our life, said that they are not just simply a religious symbol, they are our protector and guide.”

“They work and communicate in very mysterious ways, because guardian angels are known for their divine nature, their mysterious but powerful presence. They are described as pure, powerful, and immortal beings that serve as our helper, guide, and protector.” he said.

“There's always a battle between good and evil in our hearts,” he said.

A truth that resonates. The urge to lash out rather than to forgive, to do bad for power and money, to doubt instead of trust, and the urge to inflict pain on those who inflict us. The evil, who’s determined to corrupt human hearts as this is the only way they can attack God who they despise. Rev. Fr. Anastacio reminded us to let our guardian angel, the mirror of faith, enter our hearts and lead us to God.

Rev. Fr. Anastacio also stated, “Our lives must be rooted in Christ.” It is a reminder that faith is not a one-time decision, but a daily choice to lead our hearts towards Christ. He also advised parents to teach their children how to resist evil and how a light rooted in Christ must be practiced.

He ended his homily saying, “Center your life on Jesus Christ.”

'People are reminded to center our life on Jesus Christ, not the noise of the world or our own desires. He is the model of our faith, the light that cuts through dark, and his eternal love that never fails.' he said.
